Not every project requires the same level of support. Sometimes it's a complete engineering package, and other times it's a review of existing data or a conversation about what needs to be done. We're happy to help with either, and we'll be straightforward about the work involved, the cost, and the schedule.
Dynamic Seat Certification
AeroVerity provides engineering support for dynamic seat certification under 14 CFR §§ 23.562, 25.562, 27.562, and 29.562, as applicable. We work with customers on new seat installations, modifications to existing seats, and changes to seat cushions and other components that may affect the original certification.
Our services include:
Seat Modifications: Review of proposed changes to seat cushions, dress covers, and other components to determine whether the existing certification can still be used.
Existing Test Data: Review of dynamic test reports, drawings, and installation limitations to determine what data is available to support a modification.
Certification Documentation: Preparation of substantiation reports, test plans, and other supporting engineering documents.
DER Support: Compliance reviews and FAA Form 8110-3 approvals within the applicable DER's authorized areas.
Seat Installations: Review of seat configurations and installation limitations to determine what additional data or approvals may be required.
Changes that seem relatively minor can sometimes affect a seat's original certification. We can help identify those concerns early, before they become a problem during installation or approval.
Engineering Services
AeroVerity provides engineering support for aircraft interior modifications, from developing drawings and preparing Engineering Orders (EOs) to reviewing technical data and supporting FAA certification. We can assist with individual projects or provide additional resources when your engineering team needs help.
Our services include:
Engineering Drawings: New designs, modifications to existing components, and reverse engineering.
Engineering Orders (EOs): Preparation of engineering instructions and supporting documentation for aircraft modifications.
DER Support: Review of technical data, compliance substantiation, and FAA Form 8110-3 approvals within the DER's authorized areas.
Certification Documentation: Test plans, test reports, substantiation reports, and other supporting engineering data.
Technical Reviews: Independent review of drawings, test data, and proposed modifications to identify potential issues before they become problems.

Regulatory Training
Flammability Testing
AeroVerity provides flammability testing support for aircraft interior materials, from developing test plans and coordinating with laboratories to witnessing tests and preparing final reports. We can also review existing test data, material selections, and proposed modifications to help determine what testing is actually required.
Our services include:
Bunsen Burner Testing: Vertical, horizontal, and other applicable flammability testing for aircraft interior materials in accordance with 14 CFR §§ 23.853, 25.853, 27.853, and 29.853.
Oil Burner Testing: Seat cushion and fireblocking testing in accordance with 14 CFR §§ 25.853 and 29.853, including evaluation of cushion construction, material selection, and test configurations.
Test Plans and Reports: Preparation of test plans and reports, coordination with testing laboratories, and test witnessing.
Existing Test Data Reviews: Review of existing test data to determine whether it can support a proposed modification or if additional testing is required.
Flammability Substantiation: Preparation of engineering reports and supporting documentation to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements.
Testing can get expensive, and not every modification requires starting over. We work with testing laboratories and material suppliers to help our customers meet the requirements without performing testing they don't need.
